JumpingSand Ventures was launched in late 2021 by serial entrepreneur Christopher Green, who has had a storied career. He served in the United States Air Force honorably and with merit as a Non-Commissioned Officer, and directly following his uniformed service worked for U.S. Department of Defense contractor companies domestically and abroad.
In civilian life, Christopher has worked in various roles in the telecommunications, cable television, and gambling industries, including Computer Programmer, Software Engineer, Senior Software Test Engineer, and more. He helped usher in the telecommunications revolution in the 90s while working at microwave radio transciever company P-Com based in Campbell, CA. He was a part of the cable television technology boom in the early 2000s working at PowerTV of Cupertino, CA, and continued with significant advancements in the digital bingo systems and video slot machine realms in the 2010s working at renowned gaming companies in Las Vegas, NV. Christopher's passion for building process and procedure as well as his charismatic leadership traits lend to his success building companies and systems that work, exceed expectations, and dominate the competition. Previously NASD Series 6 & 63 qualified, Christopher's expertise as a stock broker and financial analyst were instrumental in developing unique and productive relationships in the financial services and financial technology industries.
Christopher's hobbies include collecting fine wine, lapel pins, and frequent flier miles. He is an avid supporter of the National Hockey League's professional hockey team the "Vegas Golden Knights" and their sibling American Hockey League team the "Henderson Silver Knights" and is widely regarded as a "Superfan" known as #VGKWarmiesGuy. Christopher is very excited to attend hockey games wherever and whenever he is travelling, especially community-level games. He is known to many for his support of local charities, donating over US$ 50,000 in cash to community-based non-profit organizations and even more in goods, services, and manpower.
Christopher moved the business to Casper, WY in January, 2023 to build the business hub in Natrona County, Wyoming and contribute to a foundation of growth & employment for the area. While the business is headquartered in Casper, Wyoming, Christopher maintains affiliate relationships with different individuals and businesses in numerous American locales including Las Vegas, Nevada, San Diego, California, Tampa, Florida, and Falls Church, Virginia, among others.
Christopher is of Mennonite heritage, tracing his ancestry through Molotschna Colony in Ukraine (formerly Prussia) all the way back to Bavaria, Hessen, North Rhine-Westphalia, as well as other areas of Prussia. His maternal grandfather, Herbert L. Gaede, was the first of his family to be born in America in Hillsboro, KS to John (sometimes "Johann") Gaede (b. Liebenau, Molotschna, Ukraine 30 Aug 1859-d. Hillsboro, KS, USA 15 Apr 1933) and Justina Gaede (née Peters) (b. Petersdorf, Yazykovo, Russia 31 Mar 1869 - d. Hillsboro, KS, USA 15 Mar 1912). He speaks fluent German, having lived abroad for many years in cities like Stuttgart & Frankfurt, Germany.
